A 30-Day Plan to Learn Tarot from Scratch

You can learn tarot in 30 days. Not all of it (nobody learns all of it), but enough to read a three-card spread with confidence and enjoy doing it. The plan below takes 10 to 15 minutes a day. The only rule: the daily draw happens every day, no exceptions.

The Fool from the Salty Bean Tarot deck: day one of learning tarot in 30 days.
Day 1: The Fool steps off. Salty Bean supervises, unimpressed.

Week 1 (days 1-7): structure and the habit

Week 2 (days 8-14): the majors as a story

Week 3 (days 15-21): the suits, by theme

Week 4 (days 22-30): readings, and a little polish

The World from the Toe Bean Tarot deck: the completion card, waiting at day 30.
The World: completion. See you at day 30.

After day 30

Keep the daily draw, keep reading, and add reversals or court-card depth when you're curious rather than because you should. Here's what the months after look like, and the full roadmap for the long game. If you'd rather not self-manage the schedule, this plan is roughly what the Toe Bean Tarot app walks you through: fresh daily content, lessons in sequence, and review timed so the meanings stick.
